About:
Q-Bitz is a puzzle platformer, where you play simulatenously as the robot, Q-Bit, and the Administrator. The Administrator can use a limited amount of energy to extend/retract blocks for Q-Bit to jump on to progress in the level. You must manage your limited resources, and also coordinate between Q-Bit and the Administrator to beat each level.
This project was mostly developed during a week long game jam at the Video Game Development Club at UCI. Myself and a team of 13 others developed the game in C# using XNA Game Studio 4.0. Q-Bitz won the award for Most Educational Game at the 2012 Gamesig Showcase, and is published on Desura and Steam Greenlight.
