About:
Paper Blue is a "Bullet Hell" game where you play as a worm on a hook, and you attempt to dodge waves of fish from eating you. The waves are made up of a series of challenging patterns of fish, which make for an appealing aesthetic.
This project was developed in C# and XNA in a 48 hour game jam at the Video Game Development Club at UCI. Myself and a team of 6 others developed the game from concept to complete during the 48 hours.
My Tasks:
-Developed the scripting engine that the designers used to create patterns and levels
-Implemented level transitions and the level hub world
-Worked with the team to decide on gameplay mechanics and design
-Implemented different GUI screens
-Implemented a Game State Management system
