About:
Down with Food is an iPad game-in-progress designed to teach kids about the journey of food after it enters the mouth through a series of mini-games of the major organs in action. The kids are put into an active role in helping each of the organs function, and learn facts about how the digestion process works. The small intestine game that is currently developed is a tower defense game where the player can help enzymes break down food that passes through the small intestines.
This game is currently being developed in C# and Unity. The team consists of two programmers, one artist, one designer, and 4 researchers. We have currently implemented a game for the small intestine, with a game for the esophagus in the making. Click here to view more information about the current development status of the game.
